Looks Good To Me

Artoberfest

Today was Make a Difference Day -- a national day of community service. One of the local events was an NSEA work party at Landingstrip Creek out in Whatcom County. I shot some photos there after dropping C off for her weekly photo shoot at the Bellingham Farmers' Market.

After a quick lunch at home we went back to town for Artoberfest -- a fundraiser for Allied Arts of Whatcom County. It was an opportunity to view art at several locations and taste beer from a different brewery at each one. We got special tasting glasses with a very attractive logo and enjoyed some excellent beer. It was a good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Our last stop on the tour was at The Amadeus Project, a nonprofit music studio started in 2008 by Tofer Wade and his wife, Andrea Rackl, a former concert pianist for the Whatcom County Symphony Orchestra. That's Tofer in the green shirt improvising with a student.

P.S.
Sorry I missed my blip yesterday -- I was a bit out of sorts. Normal service has now been resumed.
