Herriot Way. Day 3. We took the High Road!

Today we had a choice of which road between Grinton and Asgarth. The low or the high? 7 or 14 miles? We took the high along the old lead miners track across Harkerside Moor and a high of 545m at Apedale Head. A lovely descent to Casle Bolton , one of the most complete castles in the UK.
