Power dressing

I love this photo of my colleague Yen Anh, carrying a big bit of driftwood along the beach in her smart office wear, having kicked off her stilettoes. Such is the spirit of mucking in.

We were in Phuket, Thailand for a regional meeting. It started with a team building exercise in which we all had to build a new HQ for our organisation out of sand or whatever we could scour from the beach (which unfortunately is quite a lot of debris in Phuket).

We would have won had it not been for some tactical voting on the part of some colleagues. We made a masterpiece using the outline of our charity's logo, the head of an oryx antelope. We had the Communications office around the mouth area, as they are the mouthpiece for our work, and the Finance team were the 'pain in the neck'. Joking obviously....we couldn't do it without them. We did manage to find some discarded alcohol bottles to put in with the Finance team, necessary for all the headaches we provide them with.
