Warm months fall behind

The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly
changes from the summer cottons into its winter wools."
- Henry Beston, Northern Farm

A morning for winter wools and warmer catsuits that have not yet become every day attire. We had to break down, face the facts and turn on the heat briefly. It was really cold in this old house. Raspberry was cross, she's a heat seeker and it was not a happy feline facing the morning chill.

We have a lovely day planned in celebration of 19 years side by side. We'll go to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for a leisurely visit and end the day with green sauced chili rellenos at our favorite Mexican restaurant .

For the Record,
This day came in cold and sunny, a really beautiful fall day.
