A Dog's Dinner

High & Dry

I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathise."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

Another very warm day. We were told that today would bring a wet change but it's warmer than ever. I heard that some houses in the village, who are off the grid. are running out of water, most get their supplies from streams but there starting to dry up.

So we went of to the woods but we got chased away by the midges so we beat a hasty retreat to the beach. Where we found the remnants of a seafood feast.

Must have been quite a feed.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow.
