With Increasing Astonishment

I had to be in the city of Rotterdam today. In front of a small magazine in the Witte de Withstraat was a bench with some articles for sale. On the bench was a man reading today's newspaper, the AD (stands for Algemeen Dagblad which means General Daily News).

At his face you can see he reads with increasing astonishment like we probably all did reading this morning paper.

There was the sensational story about a manager of the Rabo Bank. The 25 years old man led till recently an incredible double life.
On weekdays he worked as Rabobank employee. In his spare time he traded on a large scale deadly firearms. His arsenal was hidden beneath the Alexander Station of the Dutch Railways in Rotterdam. But there was more! ...

He planned to rob his bank through an 'inside job'. He is looking for a companion who wants to enclose in the safe area of the bank. He wants to leave a crowbar with which the companion at night could steal for at least for ten million euros from the lockers.

The headlines you see, say: Arsenal Rabo-man laid under NS-station.

If that's not surprising ... quite a story, isn't it? You have to sit down to read that. Even when you're out in the streets ... ;)
