Open day

Took son number two down to Southampton for the Solent University open day. We listened to several talks on the computing courses available, had a tour of a hall of residence and had a good general look around.

Due to the over-run of one of the talks (over 2 hours instead of 1!) we ended up eating lunch at around 4 pm in one of the nearby parks. This is the Titanic Engineer Officers memorial statue. It looks as if the memorial has been restored recently (News report and it certainly looked impressive.

Finished off day with a quick trip to the Ikea store to replace our collapsing kitchen chairs. Sitting down to breakfast has been a bit like Russian roulette recently. Chairs being built by husband as I speak.
