Captain's Logbook

Thin house for thin people.

Excellent day today. Went into town with Mrs. W to meet Rita and John. The plan was to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. We forgot that the last weekend of half term would see enormous queues. After coffee in the sunshine we strolled off to find Tapas for lunch which lasted hours. A stroll down to the Kings Road via the Conran shop then Partridges and the food market led us to the cafe below the Royal Court.

A very lazy carefree day.

In our walks there were plenty of blip opportunities including this house on the South Terrace of Thurloe Square. This really is the depth of the house. I counted 9 bricks deep, which will give an internal depth of about 1.57m. I imagine the rooms on the near side of the house are bedrooms with beds specially made to exactly fit.

The house is wedge shaped and becomes a more normal depth to the far left side.
