Garnet Station

This cafe featured just over a couple of months ago. While on my run this morning, as I went past I saw a person sitting inside and wearing a large white hat. Although it cannot be seen in the picture, a cup of coffee is set in front of her/him.

I am intrigued by two aspects of this image. The first is that the sign in the door reads CLOSED. And second, on the board listing what is provided for sale, adjectively enhanced, it states that the cafe is open from 7:30 am.

I went past at 6:30 am. Does it take an hour to get set up? Do they let some people in before they open? But if they do, they have to be there so why not open earlier?

Questions worthy of thought over a mug of coffee.
