Durdle Door

Another good day discovering Dorset, and a walking day too. We took the cliff path from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door, taking in several coves, stacks and needles en route and learning all about sedimentary rocks (I'm such a geologist now, thanks Tony!) Afterwards we drove to Studland Point and walked to more stacks and caves and needles called Old Harry Rocks after a 17th Century Pirate. On the way back west we called in at Corfe Castle and ate Dorset Apple Cake in the National Trust Cafe (to be recommended). Dorset is really a very nice place.
