As the day draws to a close...

I went for a late afternoon walk around Roath Park today.

The swans were paddling towards to banks of the lake to settle down for the evening, while hundreds of smaller birds spiralled through the air in search of somewhere to roost.

I stood watching in awe of this incredible creation for as long as I could, but when the darkness began to swallow me up I went home for a big cup of coffee and to flick through my pictures.

Its been about simple pleasures today.
