Mt Taranaki

Had a meeting this morning at Whakapapa (that's far-ka-pa-pa) at 10.30, so drove up Turoa to have a quick look at the Hobbit set first. Peter Jacksons crew are in town filing the Hobbit; hundreds of them, including many short people (truly!) They weren't filming there today, but I found them later out in a paddock; cars, tents tricks, and hundreds of people. And all very secure, no pass, no get in.

Anyway, good meeting and then back to Wellington. Time to get back to work.
