Indian summer!

The mercury topped out at around 70F today, under mainly sunny skies - pretty nice for November! Tomorrow, rain is in the forecast, followed by much colder temperatures - Thursday and Friday we won't get out of the upper 40s! So today was definitely a day to get out walking in the sunshine and making the most of it. I went out late morning to Winton Woods, with a short detour on the way for a quick visit to Tri-County Mall. When I got back, there was a message from our eldest daughter, Jen. She works as a nurse, and so can never be totally sure how much time she will be allowed off at Christmas, but she had got her dates, and she will be off for 6 days, so they will be able to come and enjoy a decent length visit. She had been checking flights and fares, and found the prices pretty good at the moment, so she wanted to book it before they went up. All being well we should have all the kids home for Christmas - definitely something to look forward to!
