Shadow Battles

One of the many good things about the darker evenings. I know some people struggle with this time of year but I rather love it. Partly because it signals that Christmas is on its way, partly because we have all our family birthdays around this time of year so it's quite a fun, exciting time and partly because I like the different experience of the same place. The difference between heading to the chippy after football or heading to the ice-cream shop. And I like snuggling indoors. And hopefully soon we might even have a fire - it's only taken 4.5years.

A lovely day that has continued the theme of sorting out house and family stuff, not to mention the school fair. It can't go on, in fact it won't after this week but it's been a lovely change of pace. The trick will be not to swing too far the other way again.

For now, the new series of Rev is starting. Hurrah.
