Scoltie Dog.

This is my friend Anna's dog, Isla. She is sitting on the triangulation station (I'll never get bored of saying that) at the top of Scolty hill. Nearly 2 weeks ago, I was standing in that exact spot, worrying about the start of my new job. A fortnight on, and I'm settled in and happy happy happy.

Today was ridiculously warm for November, so it was a lovely walk up the hill (if a little warm in my ski jacket!) and I spent a good 15 minutes at the top admiring the view and trying to decide which house was the one we started out from.
