No 106: Wigeon

What a difference a day makes! The weather was glorious today for our morning fungus foray at RSPB Old Moor's Gypsy Marsh site, and we managed an impressive list of species. After lunch, I had a bit of a wander round the main reserve, the highlight being the large flock of golden plover, relatively close to the hide. These were interspersed with lapwing, teal, and wigeon, a new bird blip, and all looked wonderful in the late afternoon sunshine.
