RSD Photo's SoCal Life

Night Work

Once again my daughter's photo class provides inspiration for the day's blip. Her assignment is to take photos of lights in motion, both their own motion and motion due to camera movement. We headed down to The Pike where there is a wide variety of lights and vantage points. The lights of the ferris wheel caught our attention, especially when it started rotating. Shooting through the palm trees provided an additional element of movement from the light breeze that was blowing off the water. I'm sure we will be out a couple more times before this particular assignment is due. I very much enjoy the father/daughter bonding, even if the photos are only so-so.
