Pop's Store

It's about a five-minute walk from us, indeed with groceries beyond beer and wine--handy for small needs when we don't want to go drive to the nearby supermarket. (The name evidently comes from the popping of corks--as illustrated on the right; I had not realized it until recently.)

It was only late afternoon, but with standard time restored, it gets dark earlier. The hospice shop to the left (better legible large) accepted many donations from us during our move last fall.
