Clix : Aperture Wide Shut

By clix

What a fantastic day!

I felt five years old again.

Why? Well, Witchcreations set up a small Blip meet at her place of work; the National Museum of Scotland.

Not just at the museum but behind the scenes in the research store that is not open to the public.

And boy, is this some place! Around one hundred thousand artifacts are on display, to the public, by the museum.

The stores have over four million!

And we got a little peek.

I love two wheels. Bicycle and motorbike. You are so much more alive in the air on two wheels. And we saw a cracking collection.

But there was more. I asked. I just had to ask.

Our old friend, from before the fantastic refurbishment of the Victorian part of the museum. Was she (maybe a he?) still around?

Well, here she is. All snuggled up beside her friends in one of the many vast store rooms.

Thanks so much for arranging this and letting us into this treasure trove.

I went to Blip a Bike but ended up with a load of old bones.

I guess that's blipping all over. It's what catches your eye. Like an elephant's bum for instance.

PS. Tried for 2 hours to actually upload the photo on Tuesday but it kept timing out. <sigh>
