Grad. no. 3!

Saturday
(See June 1st and 8th for our other graduations!)

This is our son Philip, having graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Criminal Justice. However, the career he has chosen is in the Air Force and, having completed four years of ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) he commissions tomorrow as Second Lieutenant. He will be leaving later in the month for Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, to begin his training. After the ceremony, the rest of us went to the European Cafe in Montgomery for lunch - Philip had to go up to Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton to collect some things for his ceremony tomorrow - he has a tendancy to procrastinate - something of a family weakness I'm afraid! Later in the afternoon, Roger, Jen and I went for a bike ride on the Little Miam Trail - Roger and I rode our tandem. It was pretty warm and humid again today, but at least on the trail there is quite a bit of shade. This evening we all went out to our favorite Indian restaurant, then watched a movie.
