Lemon & almond muffins

The weather turned decidedly depressing this afternoon, and there were some lemons that needed using up, so I baked up a batch of lemon and almond muffins to brighten things up a little.

I hadn't made these muffins in a while. I don't really know why, because they're totally delicious. They're super lemon-y, which I love.

I also got to play around with our tessellating M C Escher dishes whilst taking photos. I know, I know, I'm just so cool. Haha.
