A Rabbit is a Foot

While waiting for Tabasco dog to inhale the smells around our yard, I noticed this little cottontail on the other side of the fence. Fortunately, I had my purple powershot in my pocket and was able to snap a couple. Maybe I should start keeping my long lens handy, not to mention my big bad slr. Some running quail looked rather promising.
The coyotes and bobcats aren't hunting as heavily in our neighborhood right now. I better grab that long lens before all that's left - disembodied bunny tails.
