Morningside Park

Wintry sunlight today. Explored the upper west side a bit more. The express A train dropped us 15 blocks further north than we had initially planned. It was a good thing.

The light during the evening was perfect, and in fact, quite magical. I'm not surprised that the architecture is amazing here. Light no doubt inspires it. S picked out Fred's for dinner tonight. A couple of weekends back, the place was overrun by runners celebrating after the New York City marathon. Though there are far too many good places to eat, I'd like to return to Fred's. The ambiance and the food were just right.

Bryant Park is now a skating rink, and a very crowded one. Loud Christmas music is on, as the wind shakes off the last few dry leaves from surrounding trees. Christmas trees in various parts of the city are lit up too.

For a moment, I thought of blipping this.
