Wedding Weekend I : The larder space

First of a couple of backblips from a weekend away. L and I were invited to L&G's wedding at the Loch Lomond youth hostel. They had booked the whole place for their guests, so we drove over on Friday evening with C&C. Quite a few of The Grads people also invited, as well as people from other Edinburgh dramatic groups. A largely self-catering weekend so we took out stuff and found room in the fridge and space on the shelves. After tea, some TV and chat until the early hours. Fair to say, some drink was taken.
The hostel is supposedly Scotland's largest and grandest, housed in a mid-19th century mansion called Auchendennan House built for a Glasgow merchant. It certainly had a baronial grandeur about it, albeit a little faded and scruffy in places.
