Red Brick with Shadows

Another late afternoon shot, at about the same time as yesterday's.  This one shows the side of the former Northampton jail, now a large condominium, built of the red brick that is so characteristic of the Pioneer Valley.  During the spring chimney swifts nest on the building; view it large to better appreciate the detailed brickwork along the roof.

It's next to the extended lot  that both our house and the big new house are on. The large shadow with the wide trunk is that of the huge oak blipped here after the snowstorm (I posted another part of the building the day before, during the storm).

Edit:  I've added this blip to my shadows series.
