Long Island

Drove out to Colla pier today in my extended lunch break, Rachel covered for a bit in the shop.The sun was shining and the view out to long Island and cape Clear Island beyond was beautiful. The single story cottages are typical of the Islands, one can take a ferry over for the day. There are few full time residents now, although one elderly female Islander comes into the shop to sell me a few leeks and cabbage, she refers to the mainland as coming to' the country'.
