Wind swept

A windy day, but these trees have obviously been shaped by the prevailing winds coming down the Vale of York to the coast. The sunlight and sky added a little drama, and I liked the intrusion of the empty goal in the scene.

I see that my blip this day last year was also of trees, but in very different weather....the first full day of the snow and hard winter of 2010-11. So glad that that the white stuff has not returned, nor seems likely to in the foreseeable future!
