Goldenrod seed head

Both yesterday and today were beautiful mild days with sunshine. Unfortunately we had various jobs to do around the house and garden, so yesterday we weren't able to get out and enjoy it, but this afternoon we did take some time out to go biking on the Little Miami bike trail, where I blipped this seed head against the backdrop of the river. One of the jobs Roger was doing this morning was repairing holes in a couple of the pillars on the front of our house, created by woodpeckers who insist on mistaking them for trees!
