The cat is out the bag
'The Scotsman' has spilled the beans
The Saltire has been unfurled
Scotland is on the map.

Our national flag is going global,
From all the corners of the world
will come saltires
dancing in the wind
or limp in the rain
matching the blue of the skies above
or giving colour to grey climes.

Burns Night will be the date
for saltire gathering
With Blipfoto on the red carpet
and a film preview
celebrating our nation's place
in the world
and showing with our Scottish flag
