Speculating

Son2 had his annual eye test today, which was very timely given he managed to break his glasses in half by sitting on them last week and - on the same day - also managed to break his spare pair. Today is the first time in eight years of him wearing (and breaking) specs that I've had to pay a single penny and that was only because he chose one of the £15 styles rather than the FOC ones. Hurrah for the NHS!

In other news, a woman gave birth to a baby in her car outside my office this morning! Mother, baby and father are all doing well :)

Off out to a colleague's leaving do tonight so I'll catch up later.
