Esther O'Connor from Ashton Lane

We went along to Brel Bar in the West End this evening to support our friends Ashton Lane at the launch of their third album Other Side. A great evening with Esther, her brother James, husband Tim, and Dad Graeme Duffin, who is lead guitarist with Wet Wet Wet.

They have appeared in my Blipfoto journal before, back in April 2010. Yesterday they sang live on the Tom Morton show on BBC Radio Scotland.

I don't often take portrait shots, and have a lot to learn. I was seriously craving a 24-105mm f/4 lens tonight. Maybe one day.
