It Never Rains But It Pours

I've had a day of it. Went out this morning to find the car had a puncture. Non stop day at work, "firefighting" I think is the phrase.

Home late, and realise the radiators aren't warm. Further investigation reveals the boiler has stopped working. Heating engineer can't come until tomorrow, and as we think the fan has gone, AGAIN, a part will probably have to be ordered.

So fan heaters and hot water bottles looked out. Two fleeces on ... my toes are cold. Chilly Gillipaw.

And it just keeps on raining ....
