Werkweekend On Stage #1

Today was the first day of On Stage's Work Weekend. In this full weekend we rehearse intensively for the upcoming musical Jekyll & Hyde.

We started with singing rehearsal, we finished Dangerous Game and had another rehearsal of Façade. We also received an exercise, some people got one individually and others got it in groups. With my group we wrote a modern version of Façade. As newspaper boy I got the honor of initiating our song during the evening at the Red Rat this evening.

After dinner (great nasi that we prepared together with James Stewart) and the dessert with fireworks for our birthday celebrating leading male role we started with the full-on-acting-exercise in which the main room was transformed into the setting of the Red Rat (one of the main locations of Jekyll & Hyde). In this club all groups got to present the results of their assignments they got earlier today. It was great to be in character all evening and see what everyone had come up with.

Afterwards we had a great time jamming with piano, guitars and percussion. Read more about the great time we had HERE.
