Excitement

One of the attractions at Stroud's Goodwill Evening tonight was this slide for kids, sited right next to a sort of carnival 'ice rink'. The kids on the slide were having a much better time.

I enjoyed wandering about trying to use the low but variable light when the town is alive for this annual event. It was convivial, with musicians playing in front of shop windows next to stalls selling varied foods, some deliciously smelly and hot.

The church had its interior filled by a forest of Christmas trees set throughout, down the aisles, on pews, in alcoves and next to the lectern and altar. My blip nearly came from there, but this memento of the fun the children were getting from the slide won out tonight, many hours later.
