HALSWELL QUARRY PARK NO 3

Overcast and dull this morning not the best light for a landscape so I have concentrated on the Cabbage trees (Cordyline australis)
A feature of the New Zealand landscape, being found along the edges of forests and swamps, along river banks or standing alone and in groups in fields and on hillsides. Found throught the country from sea level to 600m, these trees reaches a height of 20 m. They flower November /December; the flowers are sweet-scented.
