A Slow process

Full of great ideas today but nothing really transpired. I had intended to go to Ikea but the thought of battling our way to Braehead on a Saturday was too much. Instead I cleaned a cupboard and started to filter some sloe vodka.

This is a long process as I filter it several times, initially through muslin and then several times through coffee filters. Finally you are left with a rich plummey coloured liquid that warms the cockles of your heart......well I'm told it does, as I dont like vodka and I haven't filtered the sloe gin yet!!!
Better get a move on or it will soon be Christmas!!
