Another longtailed tit

Up to the allotment in the sleety rain. We picked a few salady veg, and replenished the bird-feeders.
Then a walk along the Water of Leith, nothing unusual to report; the usual mallard, black-headed gulls, goosander, wrens, greenfinches, dunnock and various tits, including a flock of these longtails (Aegithalos caudatus).
Then it was sunset... hard to get a lot done in these short days.
