Stormy

Orford Day Three: In the morning Erica and I went off to the local church, where we were welcomed with traditional small church friendliness. I'd spoken to the minister on the phone for work, so it was nice to see the parish and put a face to the name. In the afternoon we all piled into a couple of cars and drove off to Kate's Berry Farm where we enjoyed misty views of Freycinet while eating various berried baked goods and drinking tea. On our way back we stopped at Spiky Beach, and took into the imposing skies. Then ran back to the cars before the rain hit us.

For dinner we had raclette, an intriguing Swiss communal meal cooking thing, and went for a walk on the beach to work off all the cheese we'd just eaten. We played with a hyperactive scotty dog, and watched seagulls playing in the waves. The rain held off again until we got back in, and the evening was passed with games of Sequence and Time's Up.

I remember once having an argument with someone who was convinced the sea could only be blue if the sky was also blue. I think this photo should disprove that.
