Grand Day Out

Orford Day Two: We managed to get the best of the weather in the morning, and went out boating around the beaches. It wasn't particularly warm, but it was perfectly pleasant. We discovered that one person paddling in a sea kayak can go faster than one person rowing and one person paddling in a dinghy. As soon as we'd loaded the boats back on the trailer and roof racks the rain poured down. And kept going on and off all afternoon. So we settled down after our morning's exercise, once again with chocolate and good books, before playing a pretty tricky game of Settlers in the evening. I started with some hopes, but ended fairly decisively not doing too well...
