In The Occupied Territory

A Forest

What can be more ADVENT like than Xmas trees. Well actually quite a few things, but under today's " door" we have not one, but two Xmas trees.
Held up by June, in Kirkhill Forest, where we venture every year to buy our tree, or in this case, trees.
The big one is for inside the house, whilst the smaller of the two will reside on the back step.
Usually we get our tree on a Sunday, and it is usually very busy, and more often than not, very muddy. But since I am working Sundays at the moment, we went today. It was relatively quiet, with only one or two couples coming and going, and 2 nursery schools on a trip there to visit the elves of the forest.
Tradition states that we also must have wild venison burger, (with onions and cheese) and a shared portion of chips. Well our tradition states it, but you are more than welcome to join in if you wish, and can find a suitable vendor.
Oh and there was absolutely no mud at all.
