Bankstains II

Eight months on from its debut under the UK Uncut banner, east London teacher Liam returned (with a co-guide this time) with his souped-up tour of the Canary Wharf estate.

Once again it was equal parts informative, enraging and humorous with one truly brilliant section where he gave an abridged history of HSBC that wove together UK imperialism, David Cameron and heroin trade. In fact, if a video was made and appears on Youtube, I'll come back and add a link to it here. Really impressive stuff.

Worth noting that, as in April, the security manager was in attendance to 'keep an eye on proceedings.' However, unlike last time, he had about a dozen staff recording everything, and he also let us know all about the injunction Canary Wharf recently put in place which means no one can set foot in the privately-owned estate without express permission. Think we might have rattled somebody. (Well, we already knew this.)
