New growth

New flowering cherry trees have been planted to fill the gaps on Jawbone Walk, on the Meadows. Behind, the cranes continue to build the next stage of the Quartermile, replacing the old Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion. None of my family was born there but many Edinburgh and Lothians babies were.

Busy day - non stop from 9 - 6.30, then a long dinner with KK and SS - former colleagues from GRC/CC days. We spent over 3 hours catching up on the present, talking about plans for the future and, of course, reminiscing over the past - some people's ears must have been burning.

I have created the old pre-Christmas panic - how am io going to fit in doing all the things I have to do.

Too tired to blip last night and think today will be more of the same!
