Cover me up

It was my boiler service day today. Good old British Gas. When I booked the service I was offered a morning or afternoon slot. I opted for the afternoon (12-6pm) so was pleased when they arrived just after 2pm. I had visions of them arriving at 5.55pm - that has happened before!

The radiator covers in the dining room and living room had to be removed. I'd forgotten how ugly the radiators are. I suppose it's a bit like how women can slap make-up on and make themselves better looking. Men don't have that luxury.

Or should I say most men? I saw a bloke the other day and I'd swear he was wearing mascara.
