possibly the best in-laws in the world

So today I have done absolutely nothing... that's what happens after a good night out...

But I had a nice surprise in the post, a belated birthday present complete with sparkly wrapping paper... that was off the lovely Jon and Leigh. (Jon is Dave's little brother ) It contained a very cool book about alternative and subversive handicrafts.... and was a complete surprise, much better than getting things on the day itself...

The other item in picture is our christmas card from Dave's Mum and Dad... Dave's Dad is the genius behind these as he's always been an avid photographer...

From the outside they're like any other normal christmas cards, but when you open it, there is an embarrassing picture of Dave in his youth... We get a different snippet of childhood in the 1970's each year. This one is a corker as it features Dave on the right with dodgy specs, a big gun and wearing one of the christmas jumpers knitted by his Aunt Dora, and Jon's on the left looking less than impressed...

Dave's big brother (who's also lovely) has gotten away lightly this year, but has featured in previous editions...

So in summary, I do have the best in-laws in the world : )
