The Plan Replaced By A Plant

The arme Lamm* (poor lamb) ist hors de combat (out of action) today after a little accident with a step left her ankle swollen and sore. She is currently watching tv and being awfully brave (not about watching television).

That put a dampener on the going out and consequently, I'm having a day doing very little except learning German. This is OK. Days with little activity are alright from time to time.

* People don't say Poor Lamb here, you are much more likely to be called a Poor Sock as in "arme Socke". It has a charm of its own, I think.
