pass it on

8:30pm, at home and the house is decorated for Christmas. It's been a cracking day.

Woke feeling way better than last night. Which is always good

Up and out as a family to KCC, Mrs theWeir to help in the kitchen, me to the drum kit. A special morning, really enjoyed playing and sharing the joy of four young people being baptised because they wanted to make a public stand for what they believe.

Which is something to admire in age of mediocrity and the mockery made of people with faith.

Their parents were present to share the moment. For some a moment they have hoped to see. A hope fulfilled is a joyous thing.

After the excitement and a busy lunch, it was time for choir rehearsal for the carol service next Sunday night. You should come!

Home to decorate the house and unwind.

For our first Christmas in our first house as Mr and Mrs theWeir we bought this cute nativity set from the Early Learning Centre. Fast forward 12 years and we have the joy of the weeWeir enjoying the toy. And learning why bought it all those years ago.

She decided to put the characters in this piece of furniture. Which was very cute.

Traditions are learned. Are passed from one generation to the next. Christmas, love it or
hate it, is one of the things we want our weeWeir to know what it's really about. In the midst of all the stuff that happens around it.
