Last day

Trolley car to City Hall this morning. This is where a lot of the same sex marriages are being held now that it's legal in California, so there were lots of happy faces around inside the building and what a beautiful place it is to get married in.
Walked over to Alamo Square next to see the famous candy coloured houses, then caught a bus to Cow Hollow where we had lunch in an old fashioned American diner complete with mini Jukebox on the table, very cute!
After lunch we went to the Exploratorium which was a big museum full of experiments and scientific stuff to play with, great fun.
Had an icecream sitting at the lake at the Academy of Arts then caught the bus back over to Union Square to see the Frank Lloyd Wright Building that he based the Guggenheim in New York on. Very nice wee building hidden away down a back street.
Spent the end of our last afternoon having a nice cool juice and people watching under the shadow of the Beckham crotch in Union Square.

Lovely dinner in the evening to finish off a lovely holiday. I don't want to go home.
