Aperture on Life

Dukes Day

Early in the day I caught this shot of Tessa the Spaniel, not that clearly visible, shaking her load of dew onto her mistress on the beaters cart.

The mustard crop stands tall and the dogs get wet. Very wet.
The sight of the steam rising from their coats when rays of sunshine stream into the old train wagon is so suggestive. In truth, the natural light in the trailer makes it is one of my favourite places to take photographs.

Strange weather this year. We have had brilliant sunshine all day and not a gust of wind. As I type, a storm rages outside.
