Tourists at the Taj

For our last day in India we made the trip to the Taj Mahal.

The journey from Delhi to Agra takes between three and four hours, sometimes longer depending on traffic. We started out at 5:30 in order to be at Agra with time to see the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. We were driven by Kuldeep, the driver employed by our Bend and Breakfast place.

Kuldeep suggested having bananas for breakfast but once we had bought these we were followed by a monkey who eventually grabbed them and ran off. We settled for breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

At the Taj Mahal we were accompanied by a guide who was happy to take photographs of us, including this one of us in front of the Taj Mahal.

This could be our last time to visiting the Taj Mahal so we were happy to linger in the gardens before visiting Agra Fort.
