The infancy of an idea

that ultimately won the competition.

My colleague had years 8 and 9 buzzing with energy and excitement at his engineering challenge to build a tower that could support as much weight as possible. This one held two kilos, a magnificent total considering it was built of newspaper strips and masking tape. Great fun and really engrossed children.

I finally got the marking finished, feedback given and reports polished off, though for some reason I'd doubted it would happen.

The last training for the year for footy, and a long way to go for the match on Saturday. At the same time as Agu has a concert with the choir. Torn. Which is I guess the case for many people at Christmas, with concerts and celebrations all over the place.

Off to find some balance.......
